I burned out for a few months, so I painted this to get my inspiration back. It's not really a "serious" painting…more of an experiment. I always get stuck on my faces, so doing a character portrait where the face was hidden made me really pay attention to the rest of the canvas, how all the other elements interacted. The painting didn’t take a terribly long time, but I learned a lot.
